Melanie completed a BSc (Hons) degree in Health Sciences: Nutritional Therapy at the University of Westminster, followed by an MSc in Nutritional Medicine at the University of Surrey. Her final year research project looked at the effect of male obesity on IVF outcome, for which she received a distinction.
Melanie Brown began her career in nutrition in 2002 with Zita West, an acclaimed midwife and acupuncturist, and founder of the Zita West IVF Clinic in London. In 2010 she set up her own business consulting with clients and working in close collaboration with Mr Jonathan Ramsay, consultant urologist and specialist in male infertility, with whom she is currently co-authoring a book.
